- Spring Data ninja Mark Paluch announced Spring Data Ingalls M1, packed with lots of new features (and 250 tickets fixed!) include for property access in conversion subsystem (Commons, MongoDB), an update to Cassandra 3.0 for Spring Data Cassandra,support for declarative query methods for Cassandra repositories, support for Redis geo commands, any-match mode for query-by-example, support for XML and JSON based projections for REST payloads and so much more!
- Spring framework lead Juergen Hoeller just announced Spring framework 5.0.0 M1
- Spring web maestro Rossen Stoyanchev introduced the reactive programming support in Spring Framework 5.0.0 M1 - this has been a long time in coming and is definitely worth a look!
- Janne Valkealahti just announced Spring Cloud Data Flow for Apache YARN 1.0.1
- Spring Platform lead Andy Wilkinson announced Spring IO Platform 2.0.7. Spring IO Platform is a Maven bill-of-materials release train dependency that manages dependencies across different libraries and lets you focus not on playing whack-a-mole with dependency versions.
- Spring Cloud Task lead Michael Minella just announced Spring Cloud Task 1.0.2
- Spring tools lead Martin Lippert just released Spring Tool Suite 3.8.1 which fixes some minor issues.
